Use of appropriate footwear: it is recommended to wear water shoes to enter the river. For the visit: flat and comfortable shoes.

Swimming in the river is allowed, and lifeguard services are available during Easter and the summer season. Outside of these periods, swimming is permitted at the swimmer’s own risk.

The entry of alcoholic beverages or glass containers is not allowed in the premises.
There is a picnic area where you can eat if you bring your own food.

In summer, food access is not allowed in the bathing area. You may only eat in the picnic area, located in the upper part of the Les Fonts d’Algar premises.
In July and August, if you bring food, you must enter through Entrance 2 (Entrada 2 + Picnic), which is next to the picnic area. There is a designated area with free lockers to store food.

The picnic area has tables, shade, restrooms, a vending machine, and a children’s play area.
Outside the premises, there is another picnic area, 4 restaurants, and a campsite with a picnic area, barbecues, and a bar.

Free parking is available next to the Tourist Office, located 700 meters from the main entrance of Les Fonts d’Algar. Another parking lot is located 100 meters before the Tourist Office.
The area’s restaurants have parking for their customers.
There are also privately managed parking lots, which cost around €5.

Access with pets is allowed from September 16 to June 14, as long as they are leashed, waste is collected, and they do not bathe in the river.
From June 15 to September 15, pets are not allowed.

From July 1 to August 31, visits are divided into 3 sessions:

9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
If you arrive at the beginning of the chosen time slot, you will have more time to enjoy the visit.
You must exit by the end of the selected session.
